Introduction to the Square in a Square Technique (SNS)
Monday evening, October 16, (EST) 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Join us Monday evening, October 16, 2023 for this 3 hour class to learn how to use the Square in a Square Ruler designed by Jodi Barrows. Learn to make star points without having to cut and sew triangles. Just start with a square and sew strips on all 4 sides then trim with your ruler. It’s like MAGIC!! We'll include some tips to make this a fun class. This is a great class for beginning quilters as well as advanced quilters expanding their skills. This class will prepare you for the upcoming Storm at Sea and Tumbling Blocks classes.

Class cost $35.00 - Note: Class registration is through the Winston-Salem Parks and Registration Portal HERE:
Kit Cost $8.95 - We will precut the fabrics for the class. Reserve your kit with the link below.

- Precut Kit or your fabric choices for the block. Reserve your block below.
- Rotary cutter & mat

Thread to coordinate with your fabrics (we will use patriotic colors)

General sewing supplies: Scissors, seam ripper,

Sewing machine

Tape that is visible and can easily be removed from the ruler, such as Post-it tape, painters tape, masking tape
- Also note, the tables at the Rec Center are high so bring a pillow or stadium cushion to sit on to help raise to table height.
