Wake Forest T-Shirt Quilt

T-Shirt quilts are a fabulous way to capture your school colors and school memories. Tie-dye nation, logos, sororities, fraternities, clubs, teams, etc. T-shirt quilts make great ballgame, picnic, sofa, or bed blankets. Choose your quilting design and we will include an embroidered personalized name, date or message to make your quilt a special gift.

Embroidery: Name and date (ex. Class of 2009) are included in the price. Embroidery placement can be on the front within one of the shirts, in the front border, or on the back corner.

Quilting: Each quilt will be quilted in a pattern of your choice. Click here for Quilting choices.

Delivery time is usually 6-8 weeks depending on the quantity of orders at time of contract.

Steps to order your own t-shirt quilt:

1. Decide on the number of t-shirts needed for the size quilt that you want. The size of the "quilt block" will be 12" so make sure your picture is not larger than 12". Please make sure your shirts are washed. If there are any special areas you want to show on the quilt, make a note on masking tape and tape it near the special area. If you would like to carefully cut the shirt apart at front/back seam and mail me only the side with the artwork, this will be great and would certainly save you on postage.

2. A standard quilt includes your t-shirts cut into 12" squares and connected with strips of coordinating cloth called sashing. Your quilt can then be surrounded on the outside edge with a wide 3-4 inch border. You choose the solid colors for the sashing and borders or you can supply your choice of coordinating fabric to compliment your shirts. You can also include additional options such as 2 tone sashing or a photo block (square) in place of one t-shirt. The quilts include 100% cotton batting and the back of the quilt will be the color of the sashing or you may choose to provide your choice of coordinating cotton quilting fabric.

3. Email me first to discuss your quilt design. The prices quoted include all the fabric and materials needed for the entire quilt as well as the postage charge to get the finished quilt back to you. 4. Mail your t-shirts with your choices of colors for the sashing (between blocks), the border (around the whole quilt) and backing (the reverse side of the quilt). I will email you that your shirts arrived safely and keep you posted on the progress of your T-Shirt quilt. PRESERVE YOUR MEMORIES!
