Details: I designed this Christmas Wallhanging using the Square in a Square Technique. (Workshops available in my home.) Focused around the center embroidered Christmas Tree, this combination of red, green and beige fabrics make a great holiday focal point.
Click on the pictures to view the close ups of the quilting details. The holly theme is repeated in the open spaces and outside border. Look close at the small triangles for the holly berries. The inside border is quilted in candy canes and gum drops.
The red and white lattice border frames the Christmas star around the tree. The final touch is the scattering of jewels in the tree.
